It's obvious you will be spending money on fuel for each leg of your journey. This seems fair enough when you have a load to take from A to B. But if you are going from B back to A again and you have nothing to transport, you will be paying for the journey rather than making money from it. Doesn't it make more sense to make the most of that journey and transport cargo for someone else instead? This means fewer wasted journeys and more effort towards reducing the carbon footprint.
